Pricing Questions

Clear answers to the questions clients ask most often about document preparation prices.

Are court filing fees included in the listed prices?
No. Every price on this page covers document preparation only. Court filing fees are set by the court, not by my office, and they are paid separately when the documents are filed. I will tell you which filing fees apply to your matter so you can plan for them in advance.
Does the listed price include service of process?
No. Service of process is carried out by a process server or another authorized party, and that charge is separate from the preparation price. Service of Process is shown as “Quote” on the fee list because the cost depends on the location and the circumstances. I will explain the service options and confirm the amount with you before anything is arranged.
Why do some services say “Quote,” “Varies” or “Actual cost”?
Those items depend on details that cannot be known in advance, such as page counts, third-party charges or the actual postage required. Rather than publish a figure that might not hold for your matter, I confirm the amount with you before the work or the expense goes ahead. You will always know the number before you commit to it.
Does rush service cost extra?
Yes. Rush service is a separate $250 charge listed in the Administrative, Service and Miscellaneous Fees table, and it applies when a matter has to move ahead of the normal preparation schedule. Tell me your deadline when you first contact the office and I will let you know whether rush service is needed. If it is not, I will say so.
When is payment due?
I go over the preparation price with you before any work begins, and the office explains the payment arrangement for your matter at that time. Court filing fees, service charges and other third-party costs are paid separately, when those steps actually take place. If you have a question about payment, please ask before preparation starts so there are no surprises.
What happens if I need additional documents?
Additional or revised documents outside the original scope are priced separately, using the same list on this page. If you decide partway through that you need something more, tell me and I will confirm the added preparation price before I begin that work. Nothing extra is prepared or charged without your direction.
Does AZ Diamond Docs provide legal advice?
No. AZ Diamond Docs is a Certified Legal Document Preparer practice, not a law firm. I prepare documents at your direction and give general procedural information about signing, making copies and filing, but I cannot tell you which legal option to choose or represent you in court. If your matter requires legal advice or representation, you should consult a licensed attorney.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Call the office at (520) 528-0376, email info@azdiamonddocs.com, or send an appointment request from the Schedule Appointment page. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with evening and weekend appointments available by request. Let me know which documents you are asking about and I will explain what to bring.
