Frequently Asked Questions

What to expect before, during and after your appointment.

Is my appointment automatically confirmed?
No. Your request tells the office what you need and when you would prefer to come in. A team member reviews it and contacts you to confirm a time that works for both of us. Please treat the appointment as confirmed only after you have heard back from the office.
What should I bring?
Bring valid government-issued identification, any existing documents related to your matter, and the case number if a court case is already open. Having names, dates and contact information written down ahead of time makes the appointment go faster. The exact items depend on the documents you are requesting, and the office will tell you if anything else is needed.
May I reschedule or cancel?
Yes. Call (520) 528-0376 or email info@azdiamonddocs.com as soon as you know your plans have changed. Letting the office know early frees the time for another client and makes it easier to find you a new slot.
Do you offer phone or video appointments?
Many matters can be discussed by phone, and the office will tell you when coming in is the better option. Some steps, such as notarizing or signing documents, may still require a visit to the office. Mention your preference when you send your request and we will work it out with you.
How long will the appointment take?
That depends on the documents you are asking about and how much information you bring with you. A straightforward conversation about a single document set is usually short, while a matter with several documents or an existing court file takes longer. The office will give you a better estimate when your appointment is confirmed.
Is there a consultation fee?
The first conversation is used to confirm what you need, whether I can prepare it, and what the preparation price would be. If any fee applies to your request, the office will tell you before the appointment so nothing is a surprise. Document preparation prices are listed by service on the Pricing page.
Will I receive text reminders?
The office contacts you using the method you choose, which may be a phone call, an email or a text message. Let us know your preference when you submit your request. If you would rather not receive text messages, say so and we will use another method.
Does scheduling create an attorney-client relationship?
No. Scheduling an appointment does not create an attorney-client relationship. AZ Diamond Docs is a Certified Legal Document Preparer practice, not a law firm. The team prepares documents at client direction and does not provide legal advice or court representation.
Does AZ Diamond Docs provide legal advice?
No. I prepare documents at your direction and provide general procedural information about signing, making copies and filing. I cannot tell you which legal option to choose, recommend a strategy or represent you in court. If your matter requires legal advice, please consult a licensed attorney.
Are court filing fees included in document preparation prices?
No. The prices on the Pricing page cover document preparation only. Court filing fees are set by the court and are paid separately, along with service charges, postage and other third-party costs. I will point out which of those apply to your matter so you can plan for them.
