No. AZ Diamond Docs is a Certified Legal Document Preparer practice, not a law firm, and I am not an attorney. I prepare documents, explain how the filing process generally works and check your forms for completeness, but I cannot advise you on strategy, interpret Arizona law for your situation or tell you what the court will decide. If you want advice about your legal rights, please speak with an attorney.
How much does document preparation cost?
Preparation pricing depends on which documents your matter requires and how much information needs to be organized. I go over the price with you before any work begins, so there are no surprises. Court filing fees, service fees, postage and other third-party costs are separate from my preparation fee. Call the office or schedule an appointment and I will walk you through the pricing for your paperwork.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring a government-issued photo ID, any existing court documents you have, your case number if you know it, the names and contact information involved, and the relevant dates. The more complete your records are, the more accurately I can prepare your documents. If you are not sure what applies to your situation, call the office before your appointment and we will talk it through.
How long does document preparation take?
Most document preparation is finished in about three to five business days once I have the information and records I need. Matters with missing records or additional forms can take longer. The court’s own timeline for reviewing and ruling on a filing is separate from my preparation time and is not something I control.
Are court filing fees included?
No. My fee covers preparing your documents only. Court filing fees, service fees, certified copies, postage and other third-party costs are paid separately and are set by the court or the agency involved. I will tell you which additional costs to expect for your filing so nothing catches you off guard.
What information is needed to prepare a record-relief request?
I generally need your identifying information, the case number and the court where the matter was handled, the charges involved, and the dates of sentencing and of completing any sentence requirements. Copies of your existing court documents help me prepare accurate paperwork. What the forms must contain is set by Arizona statute and by the court where the request is filed, so I will let you know if something appears to be missing.
Does submitting documents guarantee approval?
No. Filing a request never guarantees a particular result. The decision belongs to the judge, who applies the standards Arizona statute sets and considers the facts of the individual case. My role is to make sure your paperwork is accurate, complete and ready to file — not to predict or influence what the court decides.
Does AZ Diamond Docs determine whether I qualify?
No. Eligibility for record relief is defined by Arizona statute and decided by the court, not by me. As a document preparer I cannot review your history and tell you that you qualify, because that would be legal advice. I can prepare the request you direct me to prepare, and if you want an opinion on eligibility, an attorney is the right person to ask.
